What is AI or Artificial Intelligence and NDC or New Distribution Channels?

As our Industry distribution models evolve, what do these acronyms mean and what impact will both have upon the industry? Join the below panel of Industry Experts discuss the latest trends and developments:

Scott Gillespie: Named one of Business Travel News Top 25 Executives, this is a guy who often breaks new ground – and a bit of glass - in the corporate travel industry. Scott is a leading authority on travel procurement, and Head of Analytics at ARC.

Shelly Younger: Shelly is currently the Senior Manager of airline retailing strategy team and ARC’s head of NDC. Shelly has been a part of the airline world for over 24 years and was instrumental in establishing American Airlines’ first automated travel agency risk management system.

Nadim Hajje: Servs as Vice President of Technology and Data Analytics at Omega World Travel where he has built Omegalytics (finalist for 2015 Most Innovative Product of Year).  Omegalytics is Omega’s proprietary analytics platform that provides insight into travel and expense data as well as saving opportunities, benchmark, and call center metrics.

Though NDC has been around since 2012, it remains a source of confusion for travel buyers and TMC's. While TMC's have previously relied primarily  upon the GDS systems, new channels of distribution are emerging not only for the airlines, but also hotel, car and ground transportation providers.

With GDS segments and fees increasing, various airline, hotel, car and ground providers are working on developing new distribution chains and options.

How can buyers and suppliers best leverage these new developments

Join our panel and network with fellow Industry members over light snacks and beverages.
