President's Corner

Dear Travel Industry Friends, Members and Colleagues:

NVBTA and the Board are very aware of the ongoing Coronavirus CV-19 challenges we are all facing! Together with GBTA, our main concern is the health and safety of our members and Industry friends.

We strive to remain engaged and we understand the importance of sharing valuable and relevant resources with our members and colleagues. In that spirit, we launched "Webinar Bytes" - a series of complimentary, briend and informative conversations with industry experts.

Our first Webinar Bytes presentation was a chat with Mark Williams, from Nina & Pinta and  Bruce McIndoe, from WorldAware.  They discussed pertinent information about Travel Risk Intelligence.  If you missed it, please watch the presentation here (sound begins around second 26):

We couldn't have been more excited to have Wendy Ward and Zach Ornelas, from UATP, joined a conversation with Mark Williams.  They shared really valuable information about payment options - and particularly unused tickets!   Even if you were able to attend the meeting, feel free to review their presentation here:

We hosted our third Webinar Bytes on May 19 and we really enjoyed having Robbie Mehoke, JetBlue Airways' Director of Sales talk to us about  what our travelers can expect from airline travel in the near future.  If you missed it, feel free to review and share the conversation and accompanying slides on the links below:

Your NVBTA Board is determined to bring you valuable and engaging information and we hope you can join us on June 2 for our Fourth Webinar Bytes.  Experts from Cvent and Omega World Travel will share with us valuable insight about The New Meeting Paradigm.  Please make sure you secure your spot by registering now.

Remember to visit GBTA for additional information and resources.

We look forward to navigating through this crisis recovery together - sharing knowledge and experience that will strenghten our industry and serve our members and their organizations!

Thank you,

Ron Kosmahl
